Nick is educated to degree level and is a qualified Teacher of Special Needs with over 12 years experience.
He has extensive experience of managing staff teams working with Autism and has personally previously taught many of the clents currently residing at WALC.
Nick co-owns WALC House with his wife, Jo, who shares her administrative role with caring for their young son.

Silena previously worked as the Deputy Manager at Walc House before accepting her new post of responsibility.
She has over eight years experience in educational settings working with students and young Adults diagnosed with ASD.
Silena has extensive knowledge of the client group and has also acquired specialist qualifications in the field of Autism, namely OCN Levels 1-3.

All WALC staff are qualified or qualifying to Level 3 NVQ , and are suitably qualified and experienced in Physical Intervention & Behaviour Management Strategies.
Senior staff are qualified to administer medication & lead shifts.
DAY Two shifts, two members of staff per shift. Client manager & proprietor to cover core hours as appropriate.
NIGHT Two waking night staff.
ANCILLIARY Administrator, Domestic Bursar & domestic staff. |
